Who We Are

Brixy ("we", "us", "our") is an event discovery platform for Goa, India, accessible at brixy.in and via our Android app. We curate events, parties, cultural shows, and experiences happening in Goa so you can discover what's on tonight without the noise.

Information We Collect

City preference — stored locally on your device only. We use this to show events near you. Never sent to our servers.
Saved events — stored locally on your device only via localStorage. Your saved list never leaves your phone.
Usage analytics — we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how people use Brixy (page views, session duration, feature usage). GA4 does not collect personally identifiable information.
Location — we do not request, track, or store your GPS location at any time. City is chosen manually by you.
No account required — Brixy has no login, no sign-up, and no user accounts. We collect zero personal data.

How We Use Your Data

The anonymous analytics data we collect is used solely to improve app performance, understand which features people use most, and improve the quality of our event curation. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose beyond operating Brixy.

Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party for commercial purposes. The only third-party services we use are:

Google Analytics 4 — anonymous usage analytics. Google's Privacy Policy →
Supabase — our backend database for storing event listings. No user personal data is stored there. Only event data (titles, dates, venues).
Unsplash — for event cover images when organiser images are unavailable. No personal data is shared.
Cloudflare — our CDN and hosting provider. Cloudflare may process request metadata (IP address) per their standard infrastructure operations.

Cookies & Local Storage

Brixy uses your browser's localStorage (not cookies) to store your city preference and saved events list. This data stays entirely on your device. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser or app data. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies of any kind.

Event Links & Third-Party Sites

Brixy links to third-party ticketing and booking sites (BookMyShow, Insider, etc.) for some events. Once you leave Brixy, you are subject to the privacy policy of that third-party platform. We are not responsible for their practices.

Children's Privacy

Brixy is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Some events marked "18+" are intended for adults only. Please ensure age-appropriate use.

Data Security

Since Brixy collects no personal data, there is no personal data at risk. Your saved events and city choice live only on your device. Our event database (Supabase) is secured with industry-standard access controls and contains only public event information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected here with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. Last updated: March 2026.
